தொப்புள் சுழியிலிருந்து எழும் மூச்சை, சிவ மந்திரத்தால் சிந்தித்து எழுப்பி, முன்பே நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்ட முகட்டின்மேல் கொண்டுசென்று, அங்கும் சிந்தித்து எழுப்புகின்றவன் சிவனேயாவான்.
One who, contemplating and invoking with the Shiva-mantra, rouses the breath that rises from the whorl of the navel, and carries it up to where it was first fixed at the ridge above, contemplating and invoking it there too, that one becomes Shiva himself.
