  எண்ணிலடங்காத நோய்கள் போன்ற பிறவிகளில் நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்து பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் உறவுகளாலும்,

  Not through the countless kin who surround and cling to us across births as though themselves numberless afflictions,

  நிலைத்திருக்கும் கலை உணர்வுகளாலும், அவற்றைத் தரும் கல்விகளாலும், அந்தக் கல்விகளால் வரும் தெளிவு மற்றும் நுட்பமான உணர்வுகளாலும்,

  not through abiding artistic feeling, the learning that gives it, or the clarity and subtle awareness that such learning brings,

  அவற்றால் அடையும் பெருமைகளாலும் எட்டுவித சித்திகளும் கிடைப்பதில்லை.

  nor through the honours gained from that awareness, do the eight siddhis come.

  பன்னிரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் ஆத்மகுரு கூறிய வழியைக் கேட்டு அதன்படி பொறுமையுடன் நடந்துவந்தால் எட்டுவித சித்திகளும் கிடைக்கும்.

  If, for twelve years, one listens to the way spoken by the soul's guru and walks it with patience, the eight siddhis will be gained.
