  இந்த உலகத்தில் துன்பம் தரும் காரணங்களாகிய பந்தங்களைக் கடந்து சென்று,

  Crossing beyond the bonds that are the causes of suffering in this world,

• வரி 2Line 2

  ஏழுவகையான சிவ தத்துவங்களையும் தன் அறிவாலேயே உணர்ந்து பெற்று,

  coming to realize, by one's own wisdom, all seven kinds of Shiva principles,

• வரி 3Line 3

  பிறவிதோறும் தொடர்ந்து வரும் மாயையைத் தவத்தால் வென்று,

  conquering by tapas the maya that follows on from birth to birth,

• வரி 4Line 4

  இறைவனின் திருவடியைச் சேருதல் சமாதியால் கிடைக்கும் பயனாகும்.

  and reaching the Lord's sacred feet is the fruit gained through samadhi.
