வருந்தித் தவஞ்செய்து வானவர் கோவாய்த்திருந்தம ராபதிச் செல்வன் இவனெனத்தருந்தண் முழவங் குழலும் இயம்பஇருந்தின்பம் எய்துவர் ஈசன் அருளே.
உரைmeaning
சிவபெருமானை நோக்கித் தன்னை வருத்தி ஆசனங்கள் மூலம் தவம் செய்பவர்களை, தேவர்களுக்கு அரசனாக இருந்து பிறவியில்லா உலகத்திற்குச் செல்பவர் இவர் என்று, குளிர்ந்த சந்தனத்தால் ஆன முரசும் புல்லாங்குழலும் இசைத்துக் கூற, சிவபெருமானின் அருளால் இன்பம் பெறுவார்கள்.
Those who trouble themselves and perform austerity through postures, turned toward Shiva, will be hailed, as the cool sandal-drum and the flute sound out to declare that this is the one who, having been king among the gods, goes on to the world free of birth, and by Shiva's grace they attain bliss.
