கடலின் அலையோசை, மேகத்தின் இடியோசை, யானை பிளிறும் ஓசை ஆகிய வன்மையான ஓசைகளில் ஆரம்பித்து, வீணையின் ஓசையும், அண்டமெல்லாம் கலந்திருக்கும் ஓம் எனும் ஓசையும், புல்லாங்குழலின் மெல்லிய ஓசையும், சிறிய துளையுடைய சங்கொலியும் ஆகிய மென்மையான ஓசைகளில் முடியும் இந்த ஓசைகளை, மன உறுதியோடு தியானம் செய்யும் யோகியர்களால் மட்டுமே அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும்.
Beginning with the powerful sounds of the ocean's roaring waves, the thunder of the clouds and the trumpeting of the elephant, and ending in the gentle sounds of the veena, the sound of Om that mingles through the whole universe, the soft note of the flute, and the note of the small-holed conch, these sounds can be known only by yogis who meditate with a steadied mind.
