ஒண்ணா நயனத்தில் உற்ற ஒளிதன்னைக்கண்ணாரப் பார்த்துக் கலந்தங் கிருந்திடில்விண்ணாறு வந்து வெளிகண் டிடவோடிப்பண்ணாமல் நின்றதுவும் பார்க்கலு மாமே.
உரைmeaning
இரண்டு கண்களையும் மூடி மனதை ஒரு நிலைப்படுத்தித் தியானம் செய்து, ஞானக் கண்ணில் (புருவ மத்தியில்) உள்ள ஜோதியைப் பார்த்து அதிலேயே மனதை வைத்தால், தலைக்கு மேல் ஆகாய கங்கை பாய்வது போன்ற உணர்வுடன், தானே தோன்றிய சுயம்புவாகிய சிவனையும் பார்க்கலாமென்கிறது பாடல்.
The verse says that if both eyes are closed and, with the mind fixed in one place in meditation, the flame within the eye of knowledge, the point between the brows, is looked upon and the mind is set there alone, then, with a sense as of the celestial Gangā flowing above the head, one may also see Sivan, the self-manifest, the one who arose of himself.

The light that dwells in that eye which is hard to attain,

if one looks upon it fully and, merging with it, stays there,

then, as though the celestial Gangā comes running and pouring out into the open,

ஓசையின்றி நின்றிருந்த அதையும் காணலாமென்கிறது பாடல்.
