உரைmeaning
கண், நாக்கு, மூக்கு, காது ஆகிய நான்கின் உணர்வுகளை உணர்த்தும் ஞானமாகிய கூட்டத்தில், ஓம் என்னும் ஒலியை உருவாக்கி நிற்கின்ற பரம்பொருள் ஒன்று உண்டு. அந்தப் பரம்பொருளை நினைத்து உடலை வருத்தித் தியானம் செய்பவர்களின் அண்ணாக்கின் உள்ளே அகண்ட பேரொளியைக் காட்டி, அவ்வாறு உடலை வருத்தித் தியானம் செய்தவர்களை அப்பரம்பொருள் பிழைக்கவும் வைத்தது என்கிறது பாடல்.
Among the knowledge that makes known the sensations of the four, the eye, the tongue, the nose and the ear, there is a Supreme Being that stands forming the sound Om. The verse says that this Supreme Being shows the boundless great light within the palate of those who dwell in thought upon it and strain the body in meditation, and that it is this Supreme Being that has kept alive those who so strained the body in meditation.
