உரைmeaning
நமக்கு முன்பு வந்தவர்கள் எல்லாம் மனதை ஒருமுகப்படுத்தி நிலைத்து வைக்காமல் இறந்துபோய்விட்டார்கள். பின்பு பிறந்த நாமும் அவ்வாறே மனதை ஒருமுகப்படுத்தாமல் அழிந்துவிடுவோம் என்பது நிச்சயம் இல்லை. முன்பு வந்த முன்னூறு கோடி மனிதர்களும் அடைந்த கதியைப் பற்றிப் பேசி ஒரு பயனும் இல்லை.
All who came before us died without fixing the mind steadily in one place. It is not certain that we too, born after them, will perish in the same way without fixing the mind. There is no benefit at all in talking about the fate reached by the three hundred crore who came before.
