உரைmeaning
பிரத்தியாகாரத்தின் மூலம் உள்ளே ஒரு நிலைப்படுத்திய மனதை, மீண்டும் முன்பு இருந்தபடி அலைபாய விடாமல் வைத்து, மனக்கண்ணை, முதுகெலும்பின் வழியே செல்லும் சுழுமுனை சென்று சேரும் இடமாகிய தலை உச்சிக்குச் சிறிது மேலே உள்ள வெற்று இடத்தில் வைத்து, கண்ணால் காணும் காட்சிகளும் காதால் கேட்கும் ஒலிகளும் மனதைப் பாதிக்காத வண்ணம் உணர்வில்லாமல் இருப்பது பற்றிச் சொல்கிறது பாடல்.
The verse speaks of keeping the mind, once fixed within through pratyahara, from wandering again as it did before; of placing the inner eye at the empty space a little above the crown, where the sushumna that runs along the spine arrives; and of remaining unmoved, so that neither the sights the eyes see nor the sounds the ears hear disturb the mind.

Fixing the steady, undeviating mind upon a single mark and binding it below,
