புறப்பட்ட வாயுப் புகவிடா வண்ணந்திறப்பட்டு நிச்சயஞ் சேர்ந்துடன் நின்றால்உறப்பட்டு நின்றது உள்ளமும் அங்கேபுறப்பட்டுப் போகான் பெருந்தகை யானே.
உரைmeaning
உள்ளிழுத்து வெளியே விட்ட மூச்சுக்காற்றை மீண்டும் உள்ளிழுக்காமல், ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட கால அளவு மன உறுதியுடன் நிலைத்திருந்தால், உள்ளம் இறைவன்மேல் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு இருக்குமென்கிறது பாடல். அவ்வாறு ஈர்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் உள்ளத்துடன், பெருங் கருணையுடைய இறைவன் எப்போதும் கலந்தே இருப்பான்.
The verse says that if the breath which was drawn in and then released is, with firm resolve, not drawn in again for a certain span, the mind is drawn toward God. And with a mind so drawn, the God of great compassion stays mingled always.
