வரி வாரியாகline by line

• வரி 1Line 1

  தலை, கண், காதுகள், கழுத்து வரை உள்ளவை மேல் பகுதி ஆகும். கழுத்திலிருந்து அடிவயிறு வரை, நெஞ்சு, தொப்புள் முதலானவை நடுப் பகுதி ஆகும். அடிவயிறு முதல் கால் பெருவிரல் வரை உள்ளவை கீழ் பகுதி ஆகும்.

  What lies from the head, eyes and ears up to the neck is the upper part. What lies from the neck to the lower belly, including the chest and navel, is the middle part. What lies from the lower belly to the big toe of the foot is the lower part.

  பிராணாயாம முறைப்படி மூச்சுக்காற்றைப் பூரக முறைப்படி உள்ளிழுத்து,

  If, in the manner of pranayama, one draws the breath in by pooraka,

  அந்தக் காற்றைக் கும்பக முறைப்படி உள்ளே அடக்கி வைத்து, மேலே கூறிய மூன்று பகுதிகளுக்கும் அந்த மூச்சுக்காற்றைச் செலுத்தி, அவை மூன்றிற்குள்ளும் நிறையும்படி வைத்திருந்தால்,

  holds that breath within by kumbhaka, sends that breath into these three parts named above, and keeps it filling all three,

  நாம் செய்யும் தீய செயல்களால் வரும் கருமவினையாகிய நஞ்சை அழித்து நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றும்; சிவபெருமானின் அருளையும் பெறலாம்.

  it destroys the poison of the karma that comes from the evil deeds we do and protects us; one may also gain the grace of Sivan.
