தவம் செய்தல், ஜெபித்தல், பேரின்பம் அடைதல், தெய்வ நம்பிக்கையோடிருத்தல், தானம் செய்தல், சிவன்றன் விரதம் கடைப்பிடித்தல், ஞானத்தைப் பற்றிய உண்மையைக் கேட்டறிதல், யாகம் செய்தல், சிவ பூஜை செய்தல், எண்ணத்தையும் இறைவனையும் இரண்டறக் கலத்தல் ஆகிய இந்தப் பத்தையும் உணர்ந்து, பிறருக்கும் அறியக் கூறவும் செய்பவனே நியமத்தின் வழி நடப்பவனாவான்.
Doing tapas, chanting japa, attaining supreme bliss, holding faith in God, giving alms, keeping the vow of Sivan, hearing the truth of siddhanta teaching, performing yagam, worshipping Sivan, and merging one's thought inseparably with God, whoever realizes all these ten and also makes them known to others, that one alone walks the way of niyama.
