• வரி 1Line 1

  இறைவனை அடைய நாம் செல்லும் வழி நன்றானதா, இல்லை வேறு வழி நன்றானதா என்று சந்தேகப்படாமல்,

  Do not doubt whether the path we take to reach God is the good one or whether some other path is the good one;

• வரி 2Line 2

  எந்த வழிக்கும் தேவைப்படுகின்ற அட்டாங்க யோகங்களின் வழியிலே சென்று சமாதி நிலையில், அதாவது இறைவனை நினைத்துத் தன்னை மறந்திருக்கும் நிலையில், இருங்கள்.

  instead, go by the path of ashtanga yoga, which every path needs, and remain in the state of samadhi, that is, the state of having forgotten oneself in thinking of God.

  இத்தகைய நல்ல வழியில் செல்பவர்களுக்கு ஞான யோகம் கைகூடிச் சிவப்பேறு அடைவது மட்டுமல்லாமல்,

  For those who go by such a good path, not only does the yoga of wisdom come to hand and the attaining of Sivam follow,

  அந்த ஞானத்தின் பயனாக இனிப் பிறவி என்பதும் இல்லை.

  but as the fruit of that wisdom there is also no birth thereafter.
