  அனைத்தையும் தனக்குள் கொண்ட இறைவனின் அடியவர்களான பெரியோர்களுக்குத் தானும் அடியவனாகி,

  I became a devotee to the great ones who are themselves devotees of the Lord who holds everything within himself,

  தேவலோகப் படைகளை உடைய, ஒளி உடம்பினனாகிய சிவபெருமானின் திருக்கயிலாயத்திற்குச் சென்றேன்.

  and went to the sacred Kailash of Shiva, whose body is one of light and who possesses the heavenly hosts.

  அங்கே வாயிற் காவலர்களாக நின்ற சிவகணங்கள் என்னைக் கண்டு இறைவனிடம் அறிவிக்க,

  There the Shiva-ganas standing as gatekeepers saw me and reported it to the Lord,

• வரி 4Line 4

  அனைத்தும் அறிந்த இறைவன், உமக்கு அபயம், உள்ளே வருக என்று அருள்புரிந்தார்.

  and the Lord, who knows all things, graciously said, you have refuge, come in.
