  இறைவனின் அடியவர்கள், உலகத்து மன்னர்களைப் பொய்யாகப் புகழாமல்,

  The Lord's devotees, without falsely praising the kings of this world,

  கயிறு போலத் திரித்து விரித்த சடையைக் கொண்ட நமது தந்தையை உண்மையான பக்தியோடு புகழ்ந்து, அவரது பொன்னான திருவடிகளைச் சேருவார்கள்.

  praise with true devotion our own father, who bears matted locks twisted like rope and spread wide, and reach his golden feet.

  இறைவனை வெறும் சொற்களால் மட்டும் போற்றாமல், உண்மையான பக்தியோடு உள்ளம் உருகி வேண்டினால்,

  If one does not merely honour God with words alone, but prays with true devotion and a melting heart,

  அந்த இறைவனின் அடியவர்களின் துணையைப் பெற்று, அவர்களது வழியிலேயே சென்று இறைவனை அடையலாம்.

  one can gain the aid of that Lord's devotees, go in their very path, and reach God.
