  அறிந்தவர்கள் உணர்ந்த, தேவர்களின் தலைவனான சிவபெருமானைத் தேடிச் சென்று,

  Going in search of Shiva, the lord of the devas, whom the wise have realized,

• வரி 2Line 2

  அத்தகைய பெரியோர்களோடு நெருங்கி இணைந்திருப்பவர்கள் சிவதத்துவத்தைப் பெறுவார்கள்.

  those who join closely with such great ones will attain the Shiva-tattva.

  இறைவனை அடையத் தாம் மேற்கொண்ட நெறியிலிருந்து மாறாமல் நின்று அருள் செய்யும்,

  Standing firm, without wavering from the path taken to reach God, and granting grace,

• வரி 4Line 4

  அத்தகைய பெரியோரோடு சேர்ந்திருப்பதே பேரின்பமாகும்.

  to remain joined with such great ones is itself the greatest bliss.
