In the hearts of yogis who hold fast to the true path and do not turn away from it, there stands the thought that one must merge inseparably with the Lord. Just as a lizard does not let go of what it has clutched, that thought too does not let go of what it has resolved. For those who subdue the senses, through pranayama by way of the nose and through mantra by way of the tongue, and who, without wastefully scattering their thinking into many stray thoughts, remain patient, an unfailing nectar will flow.
