  சிவஞானியை இகழ்வதே நல்லதென்று தவறாக எண்ணி இகழ்பவர்களுக்கு,

  For those who wrongly think it good to demean the knower of Shiva, and who demean him,

  அவர்களிடம் இருந்த நல்வினைகளும் தீவினைகளாக மாறி துன்பம் தருகின்றன.

  even the good deeds they had turn into evil deeds and bring them suffering.

  சிவஞானியை வணங்குவதே நல்லது என்று எண்ணி வணங்குகிறவர்களுக்கோ, அவர்களிடம் இருந்த தீவினைகளும் நல்வினைகளாக மாறுகின்றன.

  But for those who think it good to worship the knower of Shiva, and who worship him, even the evil deeds they had turn into good deeds.

  அவர்கள் சிவஞானிகளின் அடியவராக ஆன உடனேயே, அவர்களின் அருளால் பேரின்பமான சிவபோகத்தை அடைகிறார்கள்.

  And the moment they become devotees of the knowers of Shiva, by their grace they attain the great bliss of Shiva's presence.
