  சிவனடியார்களின் மனம் கலங்கினால்,

  அவர்கள் வாழும் நாடும் அது தேடிச் செல்லும் சிறப்புகளும் அழிந்துவிடும்.

  the land they dwell in and the glories it seeks will perish.

  அதோடு நில்லாமல், அதற்குப் பொறுப்பானவர்களாகிய இந்திரனுடைய ஆட்சிப் பீடமும் பேரரசர்களுடைய ஆட்சிப் பீடமும் நாசமாகிவிடும்,

  Not only that, the throne of Indra and the thrones of great kings, being answerable for it, will also come to ruin,
