  செழுமையான கடல்களால் சூழப்பட்டிருக்கும் இந்த உலகத்தைப் படைத்த இறைவனுக்கு,

  To the God who created this world surrounded by fertile seas,

  மனிதர்களில் யாரெல்லாம் தம்மீது உண்மையான பக்தி இல்லாமல் பொய்யாகப் புகழ்ந்து போற்றுகின்றனர் என்பது நன்றாகத் தெரியும்.

  it is well known which among men praise and extol him falsely, without true devotion toward him.

  யாரெல்லாம் தம்மீது உண்மையான பக்தி கொண்டு போற்றி வணங்குகின்றார்களோ,

  Whoever holds true devotion toward him and praises and worships him,

  அவர்களை வானுலகத்துத் தேவர்களும் வந்து வணங்கச் செய்வான், அதோமுகம் கொண்ட கருத்த தொண்டையை உடைய இறைவன்.
