  அனைத்திற்கும் முதலாய் இருக்கும் இறைவன் கோவில்களில் தினந்தோறும் நடக்கும் பூஜைகள் தடைப்பட்டால்,

  If the daily worship in the temples of God who is the first of all is stopped,

  அந்த நாட்டை ஆளும் மன்னனுக்குத் தீமைகள் உண்டாகும்; மழை இல்லாமல் நீர் குறைந்து நாட்டின் வளம் குன்றும்.

  evils will befall the king who rules that land; without rain, water will fail and the land's abundance will decline.

  பொறி வைத்துத் திருடும் திருடர்கள் அதிகரித்துக் களவு பெருகும்.

  Thieves who plot and steal will multiply and theft will grow.

  இவ்வாறு உலகத்தில் நடக்கும் என்று எமது குருவாய் இருக்கும் இறைவன் எடுத்துரைத்தான்.

  So does this happen in the world, declared God, who stands to us as guru.
