உரைmeaning
தம்மை ஆளுகின்ற தந்தையான இறைவனே மனித வடிவில் வந்து தானம் கொடுக்கின்றான் என்று கைகூப்பித் தொழுது, இறைவனை நினைத்துத் தானம் கேட்காதவர்களுக்கு மலையளவு மாபெரும் பொருளைத் தானமாகத் தந்தாலும் அதனால் ஒரு பயனும் கிடையாது. இறைவனை நினைக்காமல் தானம் கொடுத்தவனும், இறைவனை நினைக்காமல் தானம் பெற்ற இருவருமே ஏழு வித நரகங்களின் குழியைச் சென்று அடைவார்கள்.
Even if one gives alms as great as a mountain of earth to someone who does not clasp his hands and worship, holding the God who is our ruling father as having come in this human form to give, and who does not seek alms while thinking of God, that alms yields no benefit at all. Both the giver who gave without thinking of God and the receiver who received without thinking of God will go and reach the pit of the seven kinds of hell.
