  எமனால் உயிர்கள் ஒரு நாள் இறந்துபோவதைப் பார்த்தாலும், தாமும் ஒருநாள் அப்படியே இறந்துபோவோம் என்பதை உணராமலேயே உயிர்கள் இருக்கின்றன.

  Even though souls see that others die one day at the hand of Yama, they live on without realizing that they too will die one day in the same way.

  அதுபோலவே, ஒவ்வோர் உயிருக்குள்ளும் அந்த உயிரையே தன் அம்சமாகக் கொண்டிருக்கும் இறைவன் தமக்குள்ளும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதையும் உணராமல் இருக்கின்றன.

  In the same way, they live without realizing that God, who dwells in every soul as its own portion, dwells within them too.

  உலக வாழ்க்கையைவிட நன்மை தருவது பேரின்பப் பெருவாழ்வு என்பதை உணர்ந்து, அன்பாலும் தவத்தாலும் தேடிச்சென்று தமக்குள் இருக்கும் இறைவனை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளும் சிலர் மட்டுமே,

  Only the few who realize that the great blissful life is a greater good than worldly life, and who go seeking with love and tapas and come to know the God within themselves,

  இறைவனின் அருள் பெற்றுத் தேவர்களாகப் பதவி பெறுகின்றனர்.

  receive God's grace and rise to the rank of the gods.
