  உடலோடு இருக்கும்போதே இறைவனை உணர்ந்து உண்மை ஞானத்தை அடைந்தோர், ஆணவ மலத்தை மட்டுமே கொண்டவர்களாக விஞ்ஞானர் என நான்கு வகையினராக இருப்பர்.

  Those who, even while in the body, have realized God and attained true wisdom, and who carry only the impurity of egoism, are the vinjnanar, of four kinds.

  மாயை நீங்கினும் ஆணவமும் கன்மமும் நீங்காததால் பிரளய ஊழிக்காலம் வரை இறைவனோடு கலப்பதற்குக் காத்திருப்போர், மெய்பிரளய அகலர் என மூன்று வகையினராக இருப்பர்.

  Those who, though freed from maya, have not been freed from egoism and karma, and who wait until the age of dissolution to merge with God, are the mei-piralaya-agalar, of three kinds.

  ஆணவம், கன்மம், மாயை என்னும் மும்மலங்களையும் கொண்டோர், அஞ்ஞானர் என மூன்று வகையினராக இருப்பர்.

  Those who carry all three impurities, egoism, karma and maya, are the agnyanar, of three kinds.

  இவ்வாறு விஞ்ஞானர், மெய்பிரளய அகலர், அஞ்ஞானர் என உலகத்தில் உள்ள உயிர்கள் அனைத்தும் மூன்று பிரிவாகப் பத்து வகையினராக வேறுபட்டு இருக்கின்றன.

  In this way all the souls of the world, as vinjnanar, mei-piralaya-agalar and agnyanar, are divided into three groups and ten kinds.
