  ஆண் பெண் இருவரும் சந்தித்து இன்பத்தில் உறவாடுகின்றனர். அவர்களின் உறவினால், துன்பத்தையே தரும் பந்தபாசம் என்னும் மாயையால் கட்டப்பட்ட கரு உருவாகி, குழந்தையாகப் பிறந்து உயிராக வளர்கிறது.

  A man and a woman meet and unite in pleasure. From their union, an embryo bound by the maya called bondage and attachment, which gives only sorrow, takes form, is born as a child and grows as a life.

  வளரும் அந்த உயிர் மாயையிலிருந்து விடுபட வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணினால், தன்னை உயிராகப் பிறக்க வைத்த இறைவன் ஒருவன் ஆதிகாலத்திலிருந்தே எப்போதும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதை உணர வேண்டும்.

  If that growing life comes to wish to be freed from maya, it must realize that the one God who caused it to be born as a life has always existed from the beginning of time.

  அவனைத் தேடி அடைய ஆசைப்பட்டு, அவனுடைய திருநாமத்தை (ஓம் நமசிவாய) மந்திரமாக ஓதி தியானத்தில் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

  It must long to seek and reach him, chant his sacred name (Om Namasivaya) as a mantra, and abide in meditation.

  அப்போது அவனைத் தமக்குள்ளே அறிந்து மாயையிலிருந்து விடுபடலாம்.

  Then it can come to know him within itself and be freed from maya.
