குழந்தையின் உருவம் பத்து மாதங்களாகத் தாயின் கருப்பையில் கருவாக வளர்ந்து, பூமியில் குழந்தையாகப் பிறந்து, இளைஞன் முதியவன் என்று பலவித பருவங்களாக வளர்ந்தாலும், தனக்குள் இருக்கும் இறைவனையும் தான் யார் என்பதையும் மாயையால் அறியாமலேயே வளர்கிறது. அந்த உயிர் இறக்கும்போது, அது உடலைவிட்டு நுட்பமான ஆன்மாவாகத் திரும்பிப் போய்விடுவதை உலகத்தவர் எவரும் அறியமாட்டார். மாயையால் கட்டுண்டு இருக்கும் உலகத்தவர், உயிர் ஆன்மாவாக இருப்பதையோ, அந்த ஆன்மா இறைவனின் அம்சமாக இருப்பதையோ ஒருபோதும் அறியாமலேயே பிறந்து வாழ்ந்து இறந்துபோகின்றனர்.
