  ஆண் பெண் இன்பத்தின் முடிவில் ஆணிடமிருந்து விந்து வெளிவந்து பெண்ணின் யோனியில் பாய்ந்த பிறகு, ஆண் விடும் மூச்சுக்காற்றின் அளவு நான்கு வினாடிக்கும் குறைவாக வெளிவந்தால் பிறக்கும் குழந்தை குட்டையாகப் பிறக்கும்.

  At the close of the union of man and woman, once the man's seed has flowed out and entered the woman's womb, if the breath he releases lasts less than four seconds, the child born will be born short.

  ஆணின் மூச்சுக்காற்று மெலிந்து வெளிவந்தால் பிறக்கும் குழந்தை முடமாகப் பிறக்கும்.

  If his breath comes out faint, the child born will be born lame.

  ஆணின் மூச்சுக்காற்று சீராக வராமல் தடைபட்டுத் தடைபட்டு வந்தால் பிறக்கும் குழந்தை கூனுடன் பிறக்கும்.

  If his breath does not come evenly but comes checked and broken, the child born will be born with a hunched back.

  இவ்வாறு வெளிவரும் மூச்சுக்காற்றின் அளவைக் கணக்கிடும் முறை ஆண்களுக்கே உரியது; பெண்கள் விடும் மூச்சுக்காற்றின் அளவு இதில் கணக்கில் கொள்ளப்படுவதில்லை.

  This way of reckoning the breath's measure belongs to the man alone; the breath the woman releases is not taken into this reckoning.
