எத்தனையோ பிறவிகளை எடுத்து முடிந்தபின், இந்தப் பிறவியில் வினைப் பயனால் ஆண் பெண் இருவரும் சந்தித்து இன்பத்தில் கலக்கின்றனர். அவர்களது உருவங்களிலிருந்தும் அவர்களது முன்னோர்களின் உருவங்களிலிருந்தும் பலவிதமான அம்சங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அந்த அம்சங்களின் சாயலிலேயே உருவம் கொண்டு கரு உருவாகின்றது. ஆணும் பெண்ணும் இன்பத்தில் கலந்தபின் பெண்ணிடம் உருவான அந்தக் கரு புதிதாக உருவானதாக அனைவராலும் அறியப்பட்டாலும், அந்தக் கரு உருவாகுவதற்கு முன்பே இந்த ஆணுக்கும் இந்தப் பெண்ணுக்குமே இந்தக் கரு உருவாக வேண்டும் என்பது வினைப் பயனால் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டது என்பதை உணராத ஆணும் பெண்ணும் மாயையில் ஒருவரோடு ஒருவர் கலந்து கரு உருவாகக் காரணமாகி, அந்தக் கருவுக்கும் தங்களது மாயையோடு சேர்த்துத் தங்களது பலவித குணங்களையும் கொடுத்துவிடுகின்றனர்.
After passing through countless earlier births, in this birth, by the force of past deeds, a man and a woman come to meet and mingle in pleasure. Taking on many different traits from their own forms and from the forms of their ancestors, the embryo takes shape in the likeness of those traits and comes into being. Even though everyone takes the embryo that forms in the woman after the two unite in pleasure to be something newly come into being, it was in fact decided, before that embryo ever formed, by the force of past deeds, that it was this man and this woman to whom it must come. The man and the woman, not realizing this, unite with each other under maya and become the cause of the embryo's forming, and along with their own maya they hand over their own many qualities to that embryo as well.
