  உயிர்களுக்குப் பயன்படும் பல்வேறு விதமான பாத்திரங்களைக் குயவன் செய்தாலும், அனைத்தையும் ஒரே விதமான களிமண்ணிலிருந்துதான் செய்கின்றான்.

  Though the potter makes vessels of many kinds to serve living beings, he makes every one of them from the same clay.

  அதுபோலவே, உலகத்தில் பல்வேறு உருவங்களில் பல பிறவிகள் எடுத்தாலும், அனைத்துப் பிறவிகளிலும் ஆன்மாவாக இருப்பவன் இறைவன் ஒருவனே.

  In the same way, though many births are taken in the world in many forms, the one who stands as the soul in every one of them is God alone.

  உயிர்களின் கண்கள் இரண்டாக இருந்து, ஒரே விதமான காட்சிகளைக் கண்டாலும், தமது உருவத்தை அவற்றால் காண முடியாது.

  The eyes of living beings are two, and though they see the same sights, they cannot see their own form.

  அதுபோலத்தான் இறைவனும், ஒவ்வோர் உயிரின் உள்ளத்துக்குள் இருந்து அனைத்தையும் உணரவைத்தாலும், தம்மை மட்டும் உணர முடியாதவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

  So too God, though he dwells within the heart of every living being and causes them to know everything, remains the one thing they cannot know.
