அரைக்கின் றருள்தரும் அங்கங்கள் ஓசைஉரைக்கின்ற ஆசையும் ஒன்றொடொன் றொவ்வாப்பரக்கும் உருவமும் பாரகந் தானாய்க்கரக்கின் றவைசெய்த காண்டகை யானே.
உரைmeaning
இன்ப துன்பங்களுக்குக் காரணமாக இருக்கும் உடல் உறுப்புகளும், கேட்கின்ற ஓசையும், பேசுகின்ற உரையும், இவை அனைத்திலும் உணரும் ஆசையும் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று பொருந்தாமல் மாறுபட்டு, பலவித உருவங்களில் எங்கும் பரவியிருக்கும் உயிர்களும், பரந்து விரிந்த இந்த உலகமும் ஆகிய இவை அனைத்தும் இறைவனாகவே இருக்கின்றன என்னும் பேருண்மையை மறைத்துக் கொண்டு, உயிர்களுக்குள்ளேயே உணர்ந்து காணக்கூடியவனாக இருக்கின்றான் இறைவன்.
உயிர்கள் தமது ஐம்புலன்களால் பார்த்தும் கேட்டும் பேசியும் சுவைத்தும் உணர்ந்தும் ஆசையைத் தீர்த்துக்கொண்டு வினைகளைப் புரிந்துகொண்டே இருக்கின்றன. இந்த ஐம்புலன்களால் இறைவனை அறிய முடியாது; உள்ளத்திற்குள் உணர்ந்தால் மட்டுமே அவனைக் காணக்கூடியதாகும்.
The bodily organs that cause pleasure and pain, the sounds heard, the words spoken, and the desire felt in all of these, each unlike and unmatched with the other, the souls spread everywhere in many different forms, and this vast, wide world itself, all of these are in truth God himself; and God, concealing this great truth, remains one who can be seen only by realizing him within the souls.
Souls, through their five senses, see, hear, speak, taste and feel, satisfying their desires and going on performing deeds. God cannot be known through these five senses; he can be seen only when he is realized within the heart.
