உரைmeaning
இறைவன் உயிர்களைப் படைக்கும் தொழிலுக்கு உதவும் தெய்வங்களாகிய, உருத்திரனும், மாபெரும் தவம் புரிபவனான திருமாலும், வேதங்கள் ஓதி உயிர்களையும் அவை உலகில் அடையும் இன்பத்தையும் படைத்த பிரம்மனும் ஆகிய மூவரும் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்து, இறைவனின் கட்டளைக்கு ஏற்பச் செய்த வலிமைமிக்க இரும்பாலான இயந்திரம் போன்ற உடலுக்குள், மாயையால் மறைத்து இறைவன் வைத்த ஒரு மாபெரும் பரிசு இருக்கின்றது. அதை உயிர்கள் அறியவில்லை.
உலகில் உயிர்களைப் படைத்த இறைவன், அவை தமது வினைகளை அனுபவித்துக் கழிக்கும் வரை அவற்றைப் பாதுகாக்க, தானே ஒரு மாபெரும் பரிசாக அந்த உயிர்களின் உள்ளத்திற்குள் இருப்பதை மாயையால் மறைத்து அருளுகின்றான்.
The three, namely Rudran, the god who assists in God's work of creating souls, Thirumal, the one who performs great austerity, and Brahman, who chants the Vedas and creates souls and the pleasure they attain in the world, came together and made, according to God's command, this body, a mighty machine made as though of iron. Within it, hidden by maya, God has placed a great gift. Souls do not know this.
God, who created souls in the world, conceals through maya, and thereby grants his grace, the fact that he himself dwells as a great gift within the heart of those souls, so as to protect them until they have lived out and exhausted their deeds.
