The dark clouds that hold rainwater, pushed by the wind, pour down as rain on the mountains; that rain becomes a stream, the stream becomes a river, and the river spreads through the lands in all eight directions; the river's water seeps into the soil and brings forth every kind of food that protects living beings; and then that same water mingles with the sea, takes shape as the great ocean, and lies encircling all the lands. For the good that comes by way of their deeds, God matures his own power into the mantra Om, and destroys through the small fire that rises above the sacrificial pit, drawing it back within himself.

It is by good deeds themselves that the dark clouds are destroyed and fall as rain. That rainwater spreads through the lands and is destroyed as it brings forth food. What good rainwater remains mingles with the sea and is destroyed, becoming salt water. That water too is destroyed again and becomes cloud carrying dark water. In this way, the many destructions that occur in the world are all wrought by God maturing the mantra Om and kindling fire in that cauldron called the world, for the world's good.
