  இறைவன் உயிர்களின் வினையின்படி அனைத்தையும் அழிக்கும் மூன்று வகைப் பிரளயங்களில் ஒன்று கற்பாந்தப் பிரளயம்.

  Of the three kinds of deluge by which God destroys everything according to the deeds of souls, one is the kalpanta deluge.

  அந்தப் பிரளயத்தில் நிலையில்லாத இந்த உலகம் இழிவுநிலை அடைந்து அழிந்துபோனதை, இறைவனின் திருவருளால் நானும் அவனோடு நின்று கண்டு உணர்ந்தேன்.

  In that deluge this unstable world fell into ruin and perished, and I stood with him by his own grace and saw and understood it.

  உலையில் இட்ட அரிசி நெருப்பினால் சூடுபெற்றுக் கொதித்து வெந்து சாதமாவதைப் போல இந்த உலகமும் இருந்தது.

  This world was like rice placed in a furnace, growing hot, boiling and cooking into food.

  மலைகளால் சூழப்பட்ட இந்த மாபெரும் நிலப்பரப்பும் இறைவன் தந்த நெருப்பினால் வெந்து அழிந்தது.

  This vast land encircled by mountains too was burned and destroyed by the fire God sent.
