  பஞ்சபூதங்களில் ஒன்றான நெருப்பைக் கொண்ட இறைவன் பரந்து விரிந்த இந்த உலகத்தை அழித்தான்.

  God, who wields fire, one of the five elements, burned away this vast, spread-out world.

• வரி 2Line 2

  அந்த நெருப்பாலேயே அலைகள் நிறைந்த கடல்களையும் அழித்தான்.

  By that same fire he burned away the wave-filled seas as well.

• வரி 3Line 3

  அறியாமையாகிய அசுரர்களையும் அந்த நெருப்பால் அழித்தான்.

  And he burned away the asuras, who are ignorance itself, by that fire.

  இறைவனால் படைக்கப்பட்ட அனைத்தும் தத்தம் வினையின்படி அழிந்து நன்மை பெறுவதற்காக, அந்த நெருப்பே அவனது திருக்கரத்தில் அம்பாக இருக்கின்றது.

  So that everything he creates may be destroyed according to its own deeds and gain good, that very fire is the arrow in his sacred hand.
