  உயிரின் உடலில் புகுந்து நிலையாய் நின்ற இறைவன், அவ்வுயிரின் அருள் அறிவு என்னும் வெளிச்சமாகவும், அறியாமை என்னும் இருளாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

  God, who entered the body of a soul and stood there fixed, stays there as the light called grace-given wisdom and as the darkness called ignorance.

  அவ்வுயிருக்குக் கிடைக்கும் புகழ்ச்சியாகவும் இகழ்ச்சியாகவும் அவனே இருக்கின்றான்.

  And he himself is also the praise and the scorn that come to that soul.

  அவ்வுயிரின் உடலாகவும் உயிராகவும் ஒன்றி நிற்கின்றான்.

  He stands one with it as its body and as its life.

  அவ்வுயிரின் அறிவாகவும் நிரந்தரமாகக் கலந்து, அது வாழும் காலம் வரை அருளுகின்றான்.

  Mingled permanently as its very understanding, he grants his grace for as long as that soul lives.
