  சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் அக்கினியும், எட்டுத் திசைகளையும் காக்கும் எண்மரும்,

  The sun, the moon and Agni, and the eight who guard the eight directions,

  போதனை செய்யும் ஆகாயம், ஒலியைப் பரப்பும் காற்று, சுட்டெரிக்கும் நெருப்பு, நீர் இருக்கும் பூமி ஆகிய ஐம்பெரும் பூதங்களும்,

  and the five great elements, space which teaches, air which spreads sound, fire which burns, water, and earth which holds water,

  அறிவைத் தரும் ஐந்து ஞானேந்திரியங்களும், செயலைச் செய்யும் ஐந்து கர்மேந்திரியங்களும், நான்கு அந்தக்கரணங்களும்,

  the five gnanendriyas that give knowledge, the five karmendriyas that perform action, and the four antahkaranas,

  இவை அனைத்தும் அசையாத சக்தியும் அசையும் சக்தியும் தோற்றுவித்த சுத்த மாயையிலும் அசுத்த மாயையிலும் இருந்தே தோன்றியவையாகும்.

  all of these came forth from the pure maya and the impure maya that the unmoving Shakti and the moving Shakti brought into being.
