  உயிர்கள் தேடிப் பார்க்கக்கூடிய எட்டுத் திசைகளிலும், உடலோடு உயிராக ஆன்மா கூடிப் பிறவி எடுக்கும்படி, தனது வினையின் பயனாகச் செய்த மாபெரும் குருவான இறைவன்,

  God, the great Guru who, in all eight directions that souls may search and see, brought about the soul joining with the body as life and taking birth as the fruit of its own deeds,

  ஆணாகவும் பெண்ணாகவும் பிறவி பெற்ற அந்த உயிர்களின் உள்ளத்துக்குள் நின்று,

  stands within the hearts of those souls born as man and as woman,

  காதல் மயக்கத்தினால் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் நாடிச் சென்று மேலும் பிறவிகளை உருவாக்கக் காரணமாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

  and is also the reason that, through the bewilderment of desire, they seek one another out and bring about still further births.
