  சதாசிவமூர்த்தியாகிய பரம்பொருளின் திருவிளையாடலால், ஆணவ மாயையில் நின்று உயிர்களைப் படைக்கும் தொழிலைப் பிரம்மனும், காக்கும் தொழிலைத் திருமாலும் செய்கின்றனர்.

  By the sacred play of the Supreme who is Sadashiva, standing within the veil of anava maya, Brahma performs the task of creating souls and Vishnu the task of protecting them.

  அழிக்கும் தொழிலை உருத்திரனும், மாயையால் மறைக்கும் தொழிலை மகேசுவரனும், கருணையால் அருளும் தொழிலைச் சதாசிவனும் செய்கின்றனர்.

  Rudra performs the task of destroying them, Maheshwara the task of concealing through maya, and Sadashiva the task of graciously bestowing grace.

  இவர்களும் உடலெடுத்து உயிர்களாகப் பிறந்து, இறைவனை வேண்டித் தவமிருந்து, இறைவனது அருளால் இந்த ஐந்து தொழில்களையும் பெற்று அவரவர்க்கு உரிய தொழிலைச் செய்கின்றனர்.

  These five too were born as souls in bodies, prayed to God and performed austerities, and received these five tasks each through God's grace, and perform the task proper to each of them.

  இப்படிச் செய்தாலும், ஆணவம் முற்றிலும் நீங்காமல் இருப்பவர்கள் தான் இவர்கள்.

  And yet, even so, they are ones in whom anava has not left them entirely.
