The celestials, who worship God, the giver of a body of light, do not come to know God's nature even though they surrender themselves to him as we do. If one gives oneself to God, one can know God. To the one who gives himself, God gives himself in turn and grants supreme bliss. So that one does not drown in that bliss and forget oneself, God also gives, for the strength needed, his own sacred feet. But the celestials have not held to God's sacred feet the way we hold to them.
