  பேரொளி மிக்க நெருப்பு மலையாய் இருந்த சதாசிவமூர்த்தியை, அனைத்தையும் படைத்துச் சுயம்புவாய்த் தோன்றியவன் என மனத்தில் வைத்து வழிபட்ட உலகத்து உயிர்களுக்காக,

  For the sake of the world's beings, who had held in their hearts and worshipped Sadashivamurthi, who stood there as a mountain of fire of great radiance, as the one who created everything and appeared self-born,

  கடல்நீர் வெள்ளமும் கடலோசையும் மேலும் பெருகிவிடாதிருக்க, அந்த நீருள் இறைவன் அக்னியை உண்டாக்கினான்.

  so that the ocean's flood and its roar would not swell any further, God created fire within that water.
