பாடல் #356ல் உள்ளபடி, அனைவரின் பிழைகளையும் மன்னித்து எங்கும் ஒளிமயமாக வியாபித்திருக்கும் சிவபெருமானை வானவர்கள் வணங்க, அழுக்குகள் அனைத்தையும் எரித்து எதையும் தூய்மையாக்கும் அக்கினி, தக்கன் யாகத்தில் கலந்துகொண்டு தன் தூய்மை கெட்டதால், தன் குற்றம் நீங்கும்பொருட்டு சிவனின் திருவடிகளைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டது. சிவனும் அன்போடு அக்கினிக்கு அருள்செய்ய ஓடிவந்தான்.
உயிர்கள் அறியாமையால் செய்யும் தவறுகளை உணர்ந்து தம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொண்டு, அத்தவறிலும் அணுவாய்க் கலந்திருக்கும் இறைவனின் திருவடிகளை நினைத்து உள்ளத்தில் பற்றிக்கொள்ள, இறைவன் அன்போடு அவர்களுக்கு அருள்செய்ய ஓடிவருவான்.
As in verse 356, when the celestials worshipped Shiva, who filled with light pervaded everywhere, forgiving every fault, Agni, who burns away every impurity and makes all things pure, had himself lost his purity by joining in Daksha's sacrifice, and clasped Shiva's feet so that his own fault might be removed. Shiva ran to Agni's side with love, to grant his grace.
When souls realize the faults they commit out of ignorance, correct themselves, and clasp in their heart the feet of the Lord who is mingled atom-fine even in that fault, the Lord runs to them with love, to grant his grace.
