சந்தி செயக்கண் டெழுகின் றரிதானும்எந்தை யிவனல்ல யாமே உலகினிற்பந்தஞ்செய் பாசத்து வீழ்ந்து தவஞ்செய்யஅந்தமி லாதானும் அருள்புரிந் தானே.
உரைmeaning
தக்கனது யாகத்தையும், அதைச் செய்ய முற்பட்டவர்களையும், அதை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட தேவர்களையும், இறைவனின் பைரவ அவதாரமான வீரபத்திரர் தண்டித்ததைக் கண்ட திருமால், யாகத் தீயிலிருந்து எழுந்து வந்து, இறைவா, தவறு செய்தவன் இவன் அல்லன்; உலகில் பிறந்த சதியின்மேல் வைத்த பாசத்தாலும் அதனால் கொண்ட பந்தத்தாலும் அறிவிழந்து, இவன் செய்த யாகத்தின் அவிர்பாகத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட நாங்களே பெரும் தவறு செய்தவர்கள்; எங்களை மன்னித்தருள்க என்று கூறி இறைவனின் திருவடிகளில் விழுந்து தொழ, என்றுமே இறப்பில்லாத இறைவனும் அவர்களுக்கு அருள் புரிந்தான்.
மனம், வாக்கு, உடம்பு மூன்றையும் ஒருநிலைப்படுத்தினாலும், பந்த பாசத்தால் செயல்களைச் செய்தால் அந்தச் செயல் இறையருள் இன்றிப் பூர்த்தியாகாமல் இருக்கும். அதை உணர்ந்த உயிர்கள் பந்த பாசத்திலிருந்து விடுபட்டு இறையருளுடன் செயல்படும்போது, இறைவன் அவ்வுயிருக்கு அருள் செய்வான்.
Seeing that Veerabhadra, the Lord's Bhairava form, had punished Daksha's sacrifice, those who had set out to perform it, and the devas who had accepted it, Vishnu rose up out of the sacrificial fire and said, "My Lord, the wrong is not his; it is we, who lost our sense in the attachment and bondage placed upon a wife born into this world, and who accepted the share offered in his sacrifice, who committed the great wrong; forgive us." And falling at the Lord's feet in worship, the Lord who is ever without death granted them his grace.
Even holding mind, speech and body as one, if one acts out of bondage and attachment, that act remains incomplete without the Lord's grace. When souls, realizing this, free themselves from bondage and attachment and act joined to the Lord's grace, the Lord grants his grace to that soul.

"My Lord, the wrong is not his," he said. "It is we, who lost our sense in attachment and bondage to a worldly wife and accepted the share of his sacrifice, who committed the wrong."

Forgive us, he said, falling at the Lord's feet in worship, and the Lord who is ever without death granted them his grace.

பந்த பாசத்தால் செய்யும் செயல் இறையருள் இன்றிப் பூர்த்தியாகாது; அதிலிருந்து விடுபட்டு இறையருளுடன் செயல்படும் உயிருக்கே இறைவன் அருள் செய்வான்.
An act done out of bondage and attachment remains incomplete without the Lord's grace; it is the soul that frees itself from that bondage and acts joined to his grace that the Lord blesses.
