உரைmeaning
இப்பாடல் அகத்தியனை, உடலில் தோன்றும் தீயை உள்ளிருக்கும் ஒலியால் வளர்த்துக்கொண்டே இருப்பவனாகச் சித்தரிக்கிறது. அந்த ஒலியே வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலும் அத்தீயை எழச்செய்து, தவமுனிவனிடமும் எங்கும் வளம் நிறைந்த ஒளியாக விளங்குகிறது. அவ்வாறு தீ தலை முழுவதும் பரவும்போது, உடலோடு கூடிய உயிர் அருள்தன்மையும் வளமும் நிறைந்து ஒளியுடன் இருக்கும் என்பதே இப்பாடலின் பொருள்.
This verse pictures Agastya as the one who keeps growing, through the sound dwelling within, the fire that arises in the body. That same sound makes the fire rise both in the north and in the south, and stands as an ever full, luminous light in the ascetic sage too. When the fire so spreads through the whole head, the life dwelling with the body is left full of grace and radiant with light, and that is the meaning this verse carries.
