உரைmeaning
தேவியை வணங்குபவர்களில் சிலர், அவள் அருளைப் பெற்று மந்திர தந்திர சக்தி அடைய வேண்டும் என்று மதுவைப் படைத்து, பின்பு அதை அருந்துகின்றனர். மது அருந்துவோர் தம்மை மறப்பார்கள். தம்மை மறந்ததால் அவர்களுடைய ஆற்றல் அழியும். அருள் சக்தி என்பது, இறைவன் மேல் எண்ணத்தை வைத்துச் சிவஞானத்தை அறிந்து, அதில் நிலைபெற்று உண்மை ஞானத்தை அடைவதே ஆகும்.
Some among those who worship the Devi, wishing to receive her grace and attain the power of mantra and tantra, offer liquor to her and afterwards drink it themselves. Those who drink liquor forget themselves. And because they have forgotten themselves, their own power is destroyed. Sakthi as grace is in truth this: to set one's thought upon God, to know Sivagnanam, to become established in it, and so to attain true wisdom.
