உரைmeaning
இரவு பகல் என்று தெரியாமல், எந்தச் சிந்தனையும் எண்ணங்களும் அற்று, உடலாலும் உள்ளத்தாலும் உலகப் பந்தங்கள் என்று எதனாலும் பாதிக்கப்படாமல், தன்னை மறந்த நிலையில் இருந்தால், தனக்குள் உண்டாகும் பேரானந்தச் சிவானந்தத் தேனை உலகத்தார் அருந்தலாம். ஆனால் உயிர்கள் மதுவைக் குடித்து வீணாக அழிகின்றனர். எதனாலும் பாதிக்கப்படாத இறைவனின் திருவடிகளைப் பற்றினால், இறைவனே கொடுக்கும் சுத்த மாயையையும், பந்த பாச ஆசைகளினால் வரும் அசுத்த மாயையையும் அறுத்து, தனக்குள் உண்டாகும் பேரானந்தச் சிவானந்தத் தேனை அருந்தலாம்.
If one abides in a state where night and day are no longer told apart, where every thought and every notion has ceased, untouched in body and in heart by worldly bonds or by anything else at all, and self-forgotten, then the people of this world may drink the honey of Sivananda, the great bliss that rises up within them. But instead the souls drink liquor and are destroyed in waste. If one grasps the holy feet of God, whom nothing whatever touches, one may cut away both the pure maya that God himself gives and the impure maya that comes through the desires of bondage and attachment, and drink the honey of Sivananda, the great bliss that rises up within.
