  உயிர்கள் வெளியுலக எண்ணங்களை முழுமையாக நீக்கிவிட்டு, இறைவனின் மேல் சிந்தனையை வைத்து, யோகத்தில் சிவமாக இருக்கும் சமாதி நிலையில்,

  If souls remove the thoughts of the outer world entirely, set their contemplation upon God, and stand in the state of samadhi where one abides as Sivam in yoga,

  குண்டலினி சக்தியைச் சுழுமுனை நாடி வழியே மேலேற்றிச் சகஸ்ரதளத்தில் சேர்த்தால், அங்கே ஊறும் ஓயாத அமிர்தத்தைப் பெறலாம்.

  and raise the kundalini power up through the sushumna channel and join it in the Sahasradala, they may obtain the unceasing nectar that wells up there.

  அந்த மிகவும் தூய்மையான அமிர்தத்தைப் பருகிப் பேரானந்தத்திலேயே இருப்பதை விட்டுவிட்டு,

  Abandoning the drinking of that utterly pure nectar and the abiding in the great bliss itself,

  புத்தியை மயக்கும் உலக மதுவைப் பருகி அந்த மயக்கத்தில் இருப்பதும், சுய நினைவின்றி மயங்கிக் கிடப்பதும், உயிர்களை இழிவு நிலைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும்.

  to drink the worldly liquor that clouds the intellect and remain in that clouding, lying senseless without awareness of oneself, is what carries souls down to a state of degradation.
