  மாயையில் மயங்கி, வினைப் பயனால் வந்து கிடக்கும் துன்பங்களை மேலும் மேலும் உருவாக்கி அனுபவித்துக் கொண்டே இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  They are deluded by maya, and go on making more and more of the sorrows that come to them as the fruit of their deeds, and go on undergoing them.

  சிவநெறியைக் கல்லாமல், இறையுணர்வை அறியும் ஆற்றல் இல்லாத உயிர்கள் இவர்கள்.

  These are the souls who have not learned the path of Sivam, and so have no power to know the awareness of God.

  உலகத்தில் இருக்கும் அனைத்துப் பொருள்களையும் கொடுத்து, அப்பொருளாகவே இருக்கும் இறைவன் தனக்குள்ளும் இருக்கின்றான் என்று தெரியாமல்,

  Not knowing that God, who gives every object that exists in the world and who is himself those very objects, is present within them too,

  நாட்களை வீணாகக் கழித்துக்கொண்டு உலக இன்பங்களிலேயே இருந்து ஆடிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  they spend their days in waste and go on dancing amid worldly pleasures alone.
