  ஆண்கள் தாம் அன்புகொண்ட மனைவியரோடு இருக்கும் பொழுது அந்த உணர்விலேயே ஊறித் தம்மை மறந்து இருப்பதுபோல,

  Just as men, when they are with the wives they hold love toward, become steeped in that very feeling and forget themselves,

  இறைவன் மீது தாம் வைத்திருக்கும் தூய்மையான அன்பின் உணர்ச்சியிலேயே ஊறித் தம்மை மறந்து இருக்கக்கூடிய உயிர்களுக்கு,

  so too, for souls who become steeped in the feeling of pure love they hold toward God and forget themselves in it,

  வெறும் உடல் உணர்ச்சி இல்லாமல் உள்ளத்திலிருக்கும் உணர்ச்சியோடு ஒன்றாகக் கூடி, அவர்கள் செல்லும் இடமெல்லாம் அவர்களைக் காத்து நிற்பான் இறைவன்.

  God joins with them not through mere bodily feeling but through the feeling that lives within the heart, and stands guarding them wherever they go.

  அப்படிப்பட்ட இறைவனிடம் கிடைக்கும் பேரின்பம், உலகப் பற்றுக்களோடு இருக்கும் அன்பில் கிடைக்கும் சிற்றின்பத்தைவிட மிகவும் பெரியது ஆகும்.

  The supreme bliss found in such a God is far greater than the lesser pleasure found in love bound to worldly attachments.
