உயிர்கள் தமது வாழ்வில் பெறும் இன்பமும் துன்பமும், முற்பிறவிகளில் செய்த நல்வினை தீவினை என்ற இரு வகை வினைகளின் பயனால்தான் அமைகின்றன. தருமம் செய்து வாழும் உயிர்கள் பெறும் இன்பத்தைக் கண்ட பிறகும், தம்மை நாடி வந்தவர்களுக்கு வேண்டியதைக் கொடுத்து மகிழும் அன்பு உள்ளம் இல்லாத அறிவிலிகள், தருமம் என்பது என்ன, அதன் பயன் என்ன என்பதையே அறியாதவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.
The pleasure and the pain that souls receive in their life come only as the fruit of the two kinds of karma, good and bad, done in former births. Even after witnessing the happiness that souls who live doing dharma receive, the foolish who have no loving heart to gladly give what is needed to those who come seeking them, remain those who do not know what dharma is or what its fruit is.
