கனிந்தவர் ஈசன் கழலடி காண்பர்துணிந்தவர் ஈசன் துறக்கம தாள்வர்மலிந்தவர் மாளுந் துணையுமொன் றின்றிமெலிந்த சினத்தினுள் வீழ்ந்தொழிந் தாரே.
உரைmeaning
எல்லா உயிர்களிலும் இறைவன் இருக்கிறான் என்ற உண்மையை உணர்ந்து, எல்லா உயிர்களையும் இறைவனாகவே கருதி அன்பு செலுத்துபவர்கள், ஈசனின் வீரக்கழல் அணிந்த திருவடிகளைத் தரிசிப்பார்கள். எல்லா உலகப் பற்றுக்களையும் விட்டுவிடத் துணிந்து, இறைவனை மட்டுமே பற்றிக்கொண்டு தவம் புரியத் துணிந்தவர்கள் ஈசன் வீற்றிருக்கும் கைலாசத்தை ஆள்வார்கள், சிவகணங்களைப் போல. தருமம், தவம் என்ற இவ்விரு வழிகளிலும் எதுவும் செய்யாதவர்கள், இறக்கும்போது துணைக்கு இறைவனும் வராமல், தருமமும் இல்லாமல், எந்தத் துணையும் இன்றி, தாம் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் கொண்டிருந்த ஆணவத்திலும் கோபத்திலுமே மூழ்கி அழிந்துபோய்விடுவார்கள்.
Those who realize the truth that God dwells within every living being, and who regard every living being as God and give them their love, will behold the holy, anklet-clad feet of Ishan. Those who resolve to give up all worldly attachments, and hold fast only to God, resolving to perform austerities, will rule Kailasam where Ishan dwells, like the Sivaganas. Those who do neither of these two, dharma or austerity, will, when they die, have neither God nor dharma come to their side, and with no companion at all, will drown and perish in the very pride and anger they carried through their whole life.
